Tom Arup
Director, Strategic Communications, IGCC and AIGCC

Tom is a communications and advocacy specialist with over a decade of experience working in media and non-government organisations to stamp climate change on the agenda. Most recently, Tom spent three years at the Australian Conservation Foundation developing the organisation’s investigative program, building its multimedia production capacity and leading its media relations. Previously he was a senior reporter and editor at The Age covering environmental issues and federal politics, and has also worked as a senior media manager with Save the Children Australia.

Tom recently completed a Master of International Law and International Relations at the University of NSW, and has qualifications in public policy, management and media production. Tom is fluent in English.
