However\, it is generally recognised that additional investments in the billions of dollars per year are needed to make infrastructure resilient to disasters and climate change. \nTo better understand these issues\, the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC)\, the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) and the Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF) are pleased to invite you to a joint webinar that considers mechanisms crucial for enabling public and private participation and investment in adaptation and resilience practices across infrastructure sectors. \nThe webinar aims to explore adaptation and resilience approaches mutually beneficial for government\, private climate action and infrastructure finance representatives and stakeholders as well as provide insights on how to implement climate-resilient approaches that enable and attract infrastructure finance. \nThis is a unique opportunity for open dialogue among IGCC\, AIGCC\, and GIF members\, as well as invited developed country\, emerging markets and developing economy government participants\, along with multilateral development banks active in the Asia-Pacific region. DESCRIPTION:The Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) and the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) are pleased to invite you to join a special consultation and briefing session from the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) on the draft Net Zero Investment Framework\, produced by the Paris Aligned Investment Initiative (PAII). \nEarlier this month\, the PAII released The Net Zero Investment Framework\, which provides a practical blueprint for investors to maximise the contribution they make in tackling climate change and achieving net-zero emissions globally by 2050. The framework has been developed by over 70 investors with more than $16 trillion in AUM and is now open for wider consultation. \nAIGCC and IGCC are hosting this session to provide investors across the Asia-Pacfic with an opportunity to learn more about the draft framework and opportunities to provide input. Please join us to hear from Stephanie Pfeiffer\, Chief Executive of IIGCC and Daisy Streatfeild\, Investor Practices Programme Director on the IIGCC Net Zero Investment Framework for Consultation. \nThe development of tools and frameworks for achieving a Net Zero aligned investment portfolio also supports the collective work of regional and international partners through The Investor Agenda.
