World Climate Forum Asia (WCF Asia) 2020 will bring together key partners in exploring new opportunities in the fast growing Asia Pacific market. The Forum will focus on ways the public and private sector can innovate, collaborate and scale local and international solutions to navigate Asia's transition to a clean economy. The programme will be divided into two days: day one will focus on the energy transition and infrastructure, day two will focus on recovery and adaptation. The key drivers highlighted across both days and sessions are finance, policy, innovation and partnerships.
In the midst of the most devastating pandemic and worst global recession, governments are now looking towards rapid recovery with stimulus packages. We have to make the recovery process “green” through the more audacious energy transition. This year’s conference will cover a range of issues to strengthen the global response to escalating climate change risks in the Post-COVID-19 era, including climate finance, technology and Green New Deal to be executed in the municipal governments. The Conference will be held as a Webinar.
CDP Hong Kong, WWF Singapore, WRI Indonesia, UN Global Compact Malaysia (GCMY) and UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) are proud to jointly present the first-ever SBTi Asia webinar series for a region-focused discussion, guidance and deep dive into science-based targets (SBT) setting.
