AIGCC is involved in a number of regional and international collaborative projects and initiatives. AIGCC works with international policy makers and affiliated investor networks to develop investor tools and resources for managing climate change and its related risks.

The four regional climate change investor groups are AIGCC (Asia), Ceres (North America), IGCC (Australia & New Zealand) and IIGCC (Europe) who work collaboratively under the Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change (GIC).

For specific projects, we work with an extended collaboration of investor networks including the GIC groups and CDPPRI and UNEPFI.

Climate Action 100+

Climate Action 100+ is an investor initiative to ensure the world’s largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters take necessary action on climate change.

The companies include 100 ‘systemically important emitters’, accounting for two-thirds of annual global industrial emissions, alongside more than 60 others with significant opportunity to drive the clean energy transition.

Launched in December 2017 at the One Planet Summit, Climate Action 100+ garnered worldwide attention as it was highlighted as one of 12 key global initiatives to tackle climate change. The Asia strategy and implementation incorporates the unique aspects of corporate engagement in Asia.

The Investor Agenda

The Investor Agenda is a common leadership agenda on the climate crisis that is unifying, comprehensive, and focused on accelerating investor action for a net-zero emissions economy.

The founding partners of The Investor Agenda are seven major groups working with investors: Asia Investor Group on Climate ChangeCDPCeresInvestor Group on Climate ChangeInstitutional Investors Group on Climate ChangePrinciples for Responsible Investment and UNEP Finance Initiative.

Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change

The Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change (GIC) is a joint initiative of four regional climate change investor groups: AIGCC (Asia), Ceres (North America), IGCC (Australia & New Zealand) and IIGCC (Europe).

The coalition have come together to provide a global platform for dialogue between and among investors and governments on international policy and investment practice related to climate change.

The four investor groups that make up the GIC have agreed to partner on global carbon policy initiatives, agreements and projects to deliver better investor and climate action outcomes.


The Asia Sustainable Finance Initiative (ASFI) is a multi-stakeholder forum that aims to harness and amplify the power of the finance sector to create resilient economies that deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement.

Based in Singapore, ASFI brings together industry, academic, and science-based resources to support financial institutions in implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) best practices.
